Jon hails from Jersey. Originally making his way to the other end of the country, studying the organ at the Royal College of Music in Scotland. After Peter (link) formed the band initally, Jon took head charge as essentially the band's leader, or maybe "director" is the better word. He would always announce songs and do banter at gigs. Jon is a bit of an eccentric, just as the whole band is. He especially liked looking interesting. He wore earrings and skirts and drew a mustache on himself.
Jon's middle name is "Kingsley", although he seemingly doesn't like to be credited with it.
Jon and Nick(link) are the only members in every lineup of the band. Additionally, Jon was also in the band's prequel, Ubu Roi.
Nick is the player that gave the band its name, after watching a game of snooker while inebriated.
Nick is surprisingly a bit of an anxious person. His style of shaking on TV performances, somewhat similar to the disordered dancing of Ian Curtis, is only because he is so nervous. Nick considers himself more of a songwriter than a performer. Because he sang The Last Film, he got pegged as the band's lead singer by press. Even though other members sang about the same amount as him.
Nick and Jon(link) are the only members in every lineup of the band.
George, as everyone calls him, is the second keyboardist in the band, though he can also play drums. George is, at first glance, perhaps the most normal of the members that sing and show their face. What's hidden behind the gentle piano lines and unassuming smile lies a member of the occult. George is a thelemite who practices magick, and some of this theming can be seen in his work.
Kissing the Pink are an eclectic pop band from various parts of the UK. They formed in 1980 and were quickly swept up by the new wave movement. Even with a scene known for extremely diverse sounds, Kissing the Pink still held an air of originality to them. They were relentlessly creative throughout the decade, recording many songs and releasing a few albums. Their first sold fine and had singles that charted, which put the band on a few TVs.
Let's use george as an example.
