!! This bio is a draft and will be changed later !!

Jon is the band's leader, he always does banter onstage, always tries to rally people together, always willing to hear out on what others have to say. Jon is very eccentric and eclectic, much like the band as a whole. Unlike the band as a whole he's very flash. Jon liked looking weird. In early shows he would draw on eyebrows and a mustache and wear small dangly earrings (visible in the video for Maybe This Day). The need to stand out eventually resulted in him wearing dresses and makeup. Even if it didn't belong to him! (Nick says that Jon sometimes wore his (Nick's) mother's pinafore)

Jon began studying the keyboards at a young age, as his father was also a musician, and he went to college for music in Scotland, which is the complete other side of the UK to his birthplace of Jersey! Eventually he met Peter B. and Peter S. where they formed Ubu Roi. After which, they met Nick and Jo, and the rest is history.

Jon's songs are a little more dramatic and avant-garde, and he especially loves to sing with his soul! (Especially evident on In Awe Of Industry and Footsteps) Though as Jon is from Jersey, he's mostly predisposed to funk music. In the late-90s, Jon created the Jon Hall Quartet (AKA: JHQ) [is this just kissing the pink but with a different name?] and released several songs and an album of drum n' bass music, fronted by him. something something he also produced with nick and george outside of that and i think he did something with stevie too?

Jon and Nick have gotten along especially well and are the group's only two consistent members. Jon lives somewhere in the UK, and like Nick he's a licensed psychologist. Jon is now the head of a charity called Outsider Music which aims to help sad people fight mental health problems through the power of creation... doesn't the whole AI music video thing kinda undermine that? Ah whatever. Jon seemingly hates his middle name for no reason. Without it, it's pretty hard to search for him. Do you know how many musicians, let alone other people, have the name Jon or John Hall?! Too many!

Jon also did the visuals for the w-fest performance. that seems notable.
