!! This bio is a draft and will be changed later !!

Sylvia is an alumnus of the Royal College of Music in Scotland, just like Ubu Roi. She was studying opera singing. Very high voice she has. I don't think it was because the band was unconfident in their singing or anything. No, they love to sing. Untitled was probably made before Sylvia joined and has Jon singing. She was probably just recruited because they thought it would be better for marketing. Well, John Peel played Don't Hide In The Shadows on the radio, right? I guess it worked!

Sylvia left before Naked and isn't credited on any KTP release. (Well, she is actually on a few things, but they're all incorrect.) Because of this, Josephine had to fill in most of her vocal parts, except in a few songs that were already done. Sylvia's leaving didn't slow the band down. As the band's second single, Mr. Blunt, which has Sylvia in its video(!), precedes the next single, Watching Their Eyes, which has Josephine on voice, by only a few months.

Pretty crazy how Sylvia's credited instead of Simon on the JG reissue of What Noise! I mean. Come on! She's not credited on any Naked era release how did you do that?!

Sylvia's departure from the band was followed by an attempt at a solo career. But as far as I know, she released her single (which somehow got George Harrison on it, what) and did some singing on some other demos. But eventually she gave up and went back to opera. She probably lives in London.

Coming soon
